ABOUT ME
I'm Mike, a highly motivated audio professional with over 3 years of experience in the games industry and more than a decade of experience across various audio fields. Currently, I'm an Audio Designer at Cloud Imperium Games in Manchester, UK.
I’m originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where I studied sound engineering at Cape Audio College. I got my start in audio post working at a dubbing studio before embarking on a freelance career as a sound editor for film and television. In 2018 I immigrated to the UK to follow my passion for games and I’ve been lucky enough to have been working in the industry ever since. I love crafting captivating and narrative-rich sounds that breathe life into experiences.
In my down time I like playing video games, lifting weights at my local gym and exploring local trails on my gravel bike.
